In 1238, the Mongols burn the city Vladimir, Russia. During what was known as the Siege of Vladimir, around 10,000 Mongol warriors attacked Vladimir, which only had about 1,000 civilians. The civilians were defeated and thise that didn’t die, were enslaved.
