In 1882, Robert Ford kills Jesse James. Robert Ford was an American outlaw in what is popularly known as the Wild West. He grew up into the outlaw life and had admired Jesse James in his younger years. James, also an outlaw, fought in the Civil War and is thought to have committed many atrocities during his service. After the war, James had been a member of many different gangs and was involved in many violent crimes.
