Today in History February 21st

Today is the 52nd day in the Gregorian Calendar. In 1440, the Prussian Confederation was formed in Kwidzyn, Poland. The Confederation was formed by 53 nobles and clergy and 19 cities in Prussia in opposition to the Teutonic Knights, a Catholic military society that forced conversion to Catholicism and provided military protection to Catholics in Eastern Europe.
